Huami to unveil first Amazfit TWS earbuds at CES 2020

Huami is a famous wearables brand, and it is backed by the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi. In the past, Huami has produced many feature-rich smartwatches and fitness bands. Additionally, Xiaomi’s successful fitness band, i.e. the Mi Band, is also manufactured by Huami.  

As you might know, the TWS earphone market is growing at a rapid pace. As a matter of fact, most mainstream smartphone makers are now launching their own pair of TWS earphones/earbuds. Recently, Realme joined this list by launching the Realme Buds Air. Well, Huami will soon be part of this list.

Huami Technology has announced its Amazfit Global New Product Launch Conference with the theme of “Leap over Limits” at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 in Las Vegas.

In this event, the wearable technology company is aiming to expand its product lineup by launching a pair of truly wireless earphones/earbuds. As of now, not much information is available about the design ergonomics and actual hardware specifications of these earphones.

That said, we can expect these earphones to be targeted towards fitness enthusiasts. 

Huang Wang, the CEO of Huami Technology, stated that:

“Our vision is to build a global healthy ecology, so from this perspective, I have made a lot of interesting explorations on the headset, such as equipped with a heart rate sensor, everyone can look forward to it. There are no shoes, but there will be products related to shoes.”

This statement from Huang Wang, clearly says that the TWS earbuds/earphones from Huami might come with a heart rate sensor. The inclusion of a heart rate sensor could come in handy to anyone who uses these earphones during high-intensity workouts.

Furthermore, these earphones might offer a snug fit as they are apparently dedicated to sports enthusiasts. In addition to the TWS earphones, Huami is also expected to launch two more products at this event. The information about these products hasn’t been revealed yet.
