If you browse the internet on a regular basis, you must have heard of Discord. It is one of the most popular ways to stay connected with your friends via voice, video, or text.
Over the years, Discord has grown into a name almost every gamer is familiar with. With millions of daily active users, the service feels like an integral part of our daily lives.
But there are times when Discord messes up. The platform is known to experiment with new features and modifying things even when things are good.
A good example of Discord messing up is the enforced sticker suggestion feature. Like other messaging platforms, Discord has its own set of stickers that you can use to communicate better.
Now, the online platform has come up with a new feature called “Sticker Suggestions” that works absurdly similar to other messaging platforms.
But, Discord users did not find it intriguing when the sticker suggestion pop up every time they typed something in the text field.
I’m not sure if this is a beta feature or if it’s been rolled out to everyone, but this sticker pop-up thing that (seemingly randomly) appears while I’m typing on desktop is really infuriating. I have Reduced Motion turned on for a reason!

For real. I’m getting annoyed by constantly having a pop-up on the right of my text box every single freaking time I’m writing in a server or DM.

Thankfully, we now have a way to turn off the annoying “Sticker Suggestion” feature that Discord has decided to enforce.
If you find the pop-up really distracting and happen to use the Desktop version of the app, just head over to your User Settings, find the “Text and Images” tab and you will find the option to disable the “Sticker Suggestions.”
You can also right-click the message bar on the Desktop version and disable the Discord Sticker Suggestions pop up.
In case you are using the mobile app, head over to App Settings and find the “Text and Images” option. Underneath, you will find the “Stickers” section which allows you to disable the feature.
While the sticker pop-up might be useful for some, the majority of Discord users seem to be really frustrated since it blocks their message view.
We hope Discord auto-disables the feature in a future update and requires users to enable it manually.
