Apple has already started with the iOS 14.6 beta testing but the latest stable release i.e., iOS 14.5, recently got an incremental update.

While iOS 14.5 brought along a bunch of improvements, users have been facing some issues with Siri even before the latest iOS update came out.

As per multiple reports, Siri does not work as intended with Apple Music and simply responds with the ‘I can’t find … on Apple Music’ when users ask it to play a song.

Also, some reports even suggest that Siri is unable to find user created playlists on Apple Music.

This issue has been affecting users of the HomePod, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV for quite some time and it seems that the issue persists even after the iOS 14.5.1 update.

Apart from that, some users have also reported that Siri does not recognize rooms when users ask her to switch an appliance on/off.

Since both issues involve Siri, it is possible that the problem lies with Apple’s virtual assistant.

However, this is still based on our speculation as Apple has not made any announcements on the matter.

Apple HomePod users have tried numerous troubleshooting workarounds but nothing seems to solve the issues for them.

Now, several affected users have started reporting that the Apple Music issue got resolved for them. However, there are no such reports about the other issue where Siri does not recognize rooms.

While it appears that one of the issues might have been resolved by Apple, you can help us get more clarity on the matter.
