Hogwarts Legacy players request option to 'change Seasons' after finishing game; try this mod in the meantime

Hogwarts Legacy became one of the most successful launches in the history of Wizarding World-related products. The game boasted around 500,000 players days before its official release.

Gamers have also been reporting some bugs to fix or requesting features. For instance, here we have covered the ‘excessive fog’ issue, or the request for more pale skin tones on the character editor.

Now, after several players complete the game, they have been noticing that the Seasons stop changing. So, they are requesting an option to change seasons postgame.

Hogwarts Legacy offers one of the best experiences regarding the change of seasons. Each one differs markedly from the next, making the world look totally different.

Multiple players have loved the attention to detail in each season, even selecting their favorites. However, they found some bad news after finishing the game.

According to reports, once you finish the main story, the game will get ‘stuck’ in spring. This has annoyed numerous players who wanted the seasons to keep changing in postgame as well.

So, they are asking for an option to change or switch seasons after finishing the Hogwarts Legacy main story (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

To devs, please add a season switcher for postgame

I heard it locks to summer but I prefer Fall and Winter aesthetics. The game is too beautiful to not fully appreciate each season anytime you want after you finish the year 🙂

Postgame change seasons? (no-spoilers please)

So I am just wondering. Still in the first season. But I don’t like snow so exploring then would be annoying. So is there a way to change the seasons when the story is finished and I’m just focusing on 100% thing (collecting)?

It would not be strange that the game receives an option to switch between different seasons. After all, it is set in the Wizarding World, so a new spell could serve as a simple ‘trigger’.

There is still no official word on this petition from the Hogwarts Legacy devs. Fortunately, the community has taken it upon itself to offer a solution (at least for PC players).

There is a mod that offers multiple tools, including a Season changer. You can download the mod from here, while the full installation instructions and requirements are in this link.

Meanwhile, console players will have to wait for further developments in this regard in the future.
