During the episode 6 of #AskMadhav, in response to a question about Realme’s plans to come up with something like wireless earphones, Realme India CEO said they’ve been vocal about the company’s intention to come up with a range of digital accessories which they plan to launch “very soon”.
Well, Madhav Sheth did not outrightly deny the possibility, like they did when asked about Realme fitness bands or trackers. And it made sense, as even some of the OEMs that Realme competes with like OnePlus and Xiaomi offer wireless headphones like Bullets Wireless and AirDots.
However still, there was no basis for this speculation that Realme plans to come up with wireless earphones. But now we have at hand at least one. Recently, Realme has posted a survey at their community asking users about there preferences regarding audio.
The questions included in the survey ask users about their opinion regarding wireless earphones, wired haeadphones as well as speaker sound quality.
Club this with Realme’s this week’s Bluetooth headphone-centric debate, where a community admin asked users about their favorites among airpods like earbuds, around the neck earbuds, over the head headphones, sports earphones with ear hooks and galaxy buds like in ear earbuds.
Call it a coincidence, but going by the images shared by the admin, none of earphone/headphones they refer to are wired. For a quick glance, here’s how the debate post conveys the future of these accessories:
While the wired vs wireless headphones debate is ongoing and many are the audiophiles who swear by the superior sound quality of wired headsets, the latest smartphone trends show that the future is wireless and the 3.5 mm port will eventually retire after over a century of service
Madhav responding positively to accessories like wireless earphones, followed by the OEM debating with users about their favorite Bluetooth headphones, and now a survey asking them about wireless earphones points finger towards the possibility of official Realme wireless earphones coming in the near future.
Well, it would be great if the company comes up with something like this, as many users across different social media platforms have been asking about it.
NOTE: Every opinion matters. So if you wish to share with Realme your preferences, go ahead and fill up the survey. And for more Realme related news and stuff, interested readers may head here.
