The Harry Potter Wizards Unite Community Day for August 2019 has been announced. The upcoming Wizards Unite Community Day is not bringing any new foundables. It requires players to club in together with friends to help contain the ‘Calamity’.
Wizards Unite August Community will go live on August 10 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. AEST (UTC +10). The timings for other regions have been detailed below.
Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India: August 10, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC.
Americas and Greenland: August 10, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PDT (UTC -7)
Harry Potter Wizards Unite August Community Day Bonuses Details
The upcoming Wizards Unite Community Day is also bringing in a variety of bonuses which will help players to take Wizarding Challenges together. A list of bonuses for Wizards Unite August Community Day has been mentioned below.
- XP bonuses when participating in Wizarding Challenges, with additional bonuses for playing with friends
- Free store pack featuring Spell Energy from the Diagon Alley shop
- Healing potions brew quicker and offer more Stamina when consumed
- Ingredients used to brew Healing potions appear more frequently on the Map
- Potions brewed using a Rental Cauldron will have their brew times reduced by 33%
For a quick refresher, Niantic has also made some changes to Portkeys wrackspurts rewards. The changes made to Portkeys rewards has been detailed below.
- 2km and 5km Portkey wrackspurts rewards will stay the same as they currently are in game
- 7km and 10km Portkey wrackspurts rewards will be increased
Also, the Wizards Unite Team has revealed some interesting data regarding the first-ever Community Day for the game. As per the shared details, players from all over the world returned over 12 million Foundables and walked more than 270,000 kilometres.
