Guild Wars 2 is a free online role-playing game with fast-paced action combat, a detailed and rich universe of storylines, breathtaking landscapes to explore, and two challenging but fun PvP modes.
It has multiple meta events, which are basically a series of dynamic events that tell a story of a zone waiting to be explored.
One of such events is the treasure hunt that takes place around the Labyrinthine Cliffs. In it, there are several rounds, each of which lasts 5 minutes.
Progression to the next round is only awarded when a round is successfully completed.
Unfortunately, there has been a crashing issue on Guild Wars 2 that’s preventing players from completing the Labyrinthine Cliffs treasure hunt.
Players say that the game freezes completely and forces them to restart. But the restart doesn’t help as the game ends up crashing again.
Ryzer gaming PC SSD here one year old before you ask. Game causes my PC to lock up/freeze during Treasure Hunt and Boss Blitz of the Festival of the Four Winds. Have to shut down restart , come back to game and not get my loot or rewards though we were successful in killing the Boss

I had it now 3 times that the game either crashes or freezes and that only during the 2nd half of the Labyrinthine Cliffs treasure hunt. Most of the time I’m on my new Alluring Devilfish skimmer mount.

Suddenly, at the second round of the coin treasure hunt in the Festival of the Four Winds, the game completely freezes, forcing me to restart.

Many have also reported crashes. Both of the problems reportedly occur during the second round of the coin treasure hunt in the Festival of the Four Winds.
While most say that the issues only occur in the aforementioned round, there are also reports of random crashes throughout the event.
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any official acknowledgment for the Guild Wars 2 Labyrinthine Cliffs treasure hunt crashing issue yet, meaning that you will probably have to wait a while before any fix rolls out.
In the meantime, you can just head over to this thread on the Guild Wars forums to highlight your problem and pull the developer’s attention to it.
