Google’s MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) service, Google Fi, is available for Android devices as well as Apple iPhone.

While a lot of users avail the said service, an issue has been spoiling the group messaging experience for Android and iOS users.

As per recent reports from Reddit and Google Community, Google Fi users are facing an issue where group MMS are being sent as individual messages or texts.

This means that whenever a MMS is being sent in a group by a Google Fi user, other members of that group are individually receiving that message instead of the group.

Users have even tried sending messages with RCS enabled as well as disabled but the issue still persists.

Also, the latest reports on the issue are from iPhone users which suggest that sending messages to other carriers like Verizon can produce the problem.

Nevertheless, the issue has been officially acknowledged by the Google Fi Twitter handle where it has been stated that the engineering team is working on a fix.

Moreover, a Product Expert on the Google Support community has also stated that Google is aware of the issue.

Google Fi is aware of this issue. You may submit feedback directly to Google Fi via the app if you wish to do so. Just open the app and scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Send feedback.”

There is, however, no word on when a fix will arrive so users will have to wait patiently until the tech giant fixes the problem.

It is still good to see that Google has acknowledged the issue and is already striving to fix the same.

Hopefully, the tech giant soon releases the said fix for Android and iPhone Google Fi users restoring a hassle-free messaging experience.
