Google has a bunch of apps to provide more convenience to Android users. From dialer to notes app, the tech giant has everything covered.

Every Android-based device these days arrives with Google Apps package pre-installed out-of-the-box and is often considered essential.

One of the widely used apps by Android users is the Google Calendar which seeks no introduction.

Although Google is quite consistent in pushing regular in-app updates to iron out any existing issues and improving the overall experience, there can still be some annoying bugs.

According to some recently surfaced reports, Google Calendar appears to have gone erratic for some users.

As described by the affected users, the Calendar app doesn’t load anymore, making it completely unusable. The setting page flashes blank and the app doesn’t show any entries.

This is coupled with another issue where the existing entries can no longer be deleted in the Google Calendar app.

From what it appears, Samsung and Pixel devices seem to be the only ones affected at this moment but the possibility of other devices being affected can not be ruled out.

An official word on this from the community representatives is yet to be heard and while Google reps try to figure it out, here’s a workaround that can be tried.

It’s a pixel 3. And it suddenly fixed itself yesterday afternoon! I think what helped, maybe, was installing and setting up another calendar app. It was then that Google calendar jumped back into action. I then deleted the non-google one and the google one still works.

More number of reports about the Google Calendar issue keep flowing in as we speak so it requires immediate attention from the company representatives.

We will have a prompt update in this very article as soon as there is any development in this regard.
