Google Assistant is one of the most used applications on Android.

The personal assistant can do pretty much everything from delivering search results to setting up reminders and answering all your queries.

In the last few years, Google Assistant has become an integral part of our lives to the point we depend on the app to do things on a daily basis.

But no matter how good an app might be, there are always times when an app encounters some kind of bug or issue. And Google Assistant is no exception in this regard.

Recently, some users reported that Google Assistant randomly says ‘Greater than B, less than B’ when responding to queries or reading text from a website.

It is really irritating for people who rely on Google and use the app on a daily basis. The issue seems to be rampant since June. A community specialist has now escalated the issue.

Another issue users have reported is that they are unable to open the Google Assistant app when the phone is in sleep or standby mode on Android 11.

It is interesting to note that the functionality is working fine for some on Android 10.

The issue has been escalated to the Google product team as well, but we have no idea when it will be fixed.

We hope Google fixes these issues soon, but it is highly unlikely since the summer holidays are almost here.
