The capabilities of Google Assistant aren’t hidden from anyone and need no introduction. In fact, Google has extensively been integrating it wherever possible.

Thanks to Google Assistant, almost every IoT-based product can now easily be accessed with a command of our voice.

But this has always been a topic of debate for its uncanny behavior. Being a digitally programmed Assistant it is natural for it to encounter bugs quite often.

Out of the many Google Assistant issues, the missing voice training feature has emerged out to be the most recent one.

The voice match part on Google Assistant has so far been doing a great job, it is the voice training that has taken the hit lately.

While accessing Google Assistant’s settings, a normal user should get the following options under the Voice Match section and this is where the issue begins for some users.

It has been reported that some users no longer have the option of Voice Model (voice training) on the Voice Match page.

This option lets users play with their existing voice notes by either re-training them or delete the existing ones to add a new voice.

This has become a reason of worry for Samsung, Pixel, and a few other device owners who wish to use the “Ok Google” command.

In the absence of the voice model feature, it is no longer possible to set up the Google Assistant to make it work.

The preliminary troubleshooting steps don’t seem to work either. But then it won’t hurt to at least give it a shot.

– Uninstall all updates for the Google App
– Inactivate it and activate it again
– Change the language
– Restart the phone

Chances are that this issue has emerged at Google’s end and therefore, it requires Google’s intervention.
