Unable to login to your Gmail account while using the app on iOS? You might not be alone as several others are also reporting the sign-in problem.
Lately, iOS users have been encountering a login error while using Gmail app. The error says “something went wrong, please try again later”. Users who reported the issue note that Gmail works smoothly when they log in using a Web browser.
Despite being repetitively reported since February, 2017, Google is yet to address the issue. A quick look into the relevant thread on official Gmail forums reveals that users still await an acknowledgement from Google as failure to login or sign-in continues to restrict them to web browser only.
