Ghost Recon Breakpoint constantly crashing on Xbox & PlayStation for many

Ghost Recon Breakpoint can reliably be played as a single-player or with friends. In both situations, gamers are treated with enthralling and tactical gameplay.

As the direct sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands, you’ll be plunged into yet another amazing open world with a variety of missions.

According to reports, many Ghost Recon Breakpoint players are complaining that the game keeps crashing (1,2,3,4,5,6).

Some Ghost Recon Breakpoint players report that the game frequently freezes and crashes. This issue can occur at any moment in the game and sends players back to the Home Screen.

As a result, players are unable to enjoy the game because some are stuck in the tutorial while others are forced to replay missions as the crash occurs multiple times.

This issue appears to have popped up in the last few days and affects players on consoles (PlayStation and Xbox) if the reports are anything to go by.

The amount of games that have issues with freezing/crashing on Xbox these days is a piss take. Bought GR Breakpoint only to realise there’s a common issue with it quitting randomly so far in. As if it’s never been fixed!

@UbisoftSupport ghost recon breakpoint keeps freezing and taking me back to Home Screen on my series x. It’s been happening for 3 days straight now. I’ve tried all solutions given to me and it’s still crashing. When is this going to be fixed?

There is no workaround available to help address or minimize the problem. There has also been no official acknowledgment, however, the Ubisoft support team responded to one of the reports, and requested further information:

As a result, we encourage everyone to contact Ubisoft support and describe the problem in full. Hopefully, a patch will be available shortly.

That said, we will keep an eye out on the latest developments regarding the crashing issue and update this story as and when anything noteworthy comes up.
