Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

The Boston-based tech company, GasBuddy, provides fuel prices in real-time at hundreds of thousand of gas stations across the US.

Users can have access through the GasBuddy app or website, however, there seems to be an issue with the service.

As per recent reports, the GasBuddy app is not working for multiple users and is giving the timed out errors.

A lot of users have been facing this issue and are getting the error codes 1000 and 504 when the app is launched.

Some users even reported that the issue was affecting both, the app and website, but the latter appears to be working now.

However, affected users of the app may not have to dwell with the said issue for long as a fix is being looked into.

The official GasBuddy Twitter handle has acknowledged the app not working issue stating that they are experiencing slowdowns.

Also, it seems that this is server side issue which has been caused by a high volume of users but the Gasbuddy engineering team is working on a fix.

In the meantime, users can track the fuel availability either through the GasBuddy Gasoline Availability Tracker or website.

Since it is quite natural for services like GasBuddy to have high user volumes, there should be proper measures to prevent such issues beforehand.

While it is still good to see that the issue is being looked into, it is still causing inconvenience to users.
