Samsung’s upcoming flagship Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus devices are currently the most talked about smartphones, as the entire tech-media is trying to dig out the minutest possible information before the actual launch.
We recently broke news related to Galaxy S9 specs (coming from someone who handled the devices for a couple of hours), but couldn’t find price related info at that time.
Yesterday, serial leaker @evleaks shared pricing info for the devices:
And now, we’re bringing a more official-looking leak that reveals slightly different price tags for the devices in Europe. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will officially cost you around €849 (1044.82 USD), and the S9 Plus would be €1,000 (1230.45 USD).
The information comes in the form of a leaked screenshot of a Spanish bank document (yes, in Spain, banks also sell phones).
For comparison, the Galaxy S8/S8+ launched carrying a price tag of €809 and €909, respectively.
Sadly, the US pricing for the Galaxy S9/S9+ isn’t yet clear, but this leaked European pricing should give you at-least some idea on what to expect.
As for availability, while recent reports suggest pre-orders will begin February 28 onwards, at-least one Spanish user has confirmed their bank will launch pre-sales on February 26.
We hope both devices turn out to be worth their price. Have a happy buying experience.
