Samsung's Secure Folder coming soon to Galaxy A21s as testing allegedly enters final stage

Samsung Galaxy A21s came out in May 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box. It bagged the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update back in April.

However, like several other entry level Galaxy A series devices, the Galaxy A21s also runs the One UI Core custom skin.

The One UI Core skin is different from regular One UI in terms of several features which are not present on the former.

Users of the Galaxy A21s have been longing for a similar feature, Secure Folder, for quite some time.

Samsung Secure Folder utilizes the Knox security platform to create an encrypted, private space on the Galaxy devices. However, the said feature is currently not supported on the Galaxy A21s.

Some users have pointed out that this is because the Galaxy A21s runs the One UI Core skin.

While the OEM has not provided much clarity on the matter, it is possible that Secure Folder might soon arrive on the device in question.

As per a Galaxy A21s user, a Samsung Support representative has said that the Secure Folder feature for the said device is in the final testing stage.

So, users might get the said feature in an upcoming update if the representative’s words are anything to go by.

However, there has been no announcements on the matter from Samsung so it is unclear whether Secure Folder will indeed arrive for the device in question or not.

Hopefully, Samsung sheds some more light on the matter or soon release an update with the said feature for the Galaxy A21s.
