Epic Games is once again all set to have a new collaboration event in Fortnite. Well, this time, it is to promote the upcoming Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker movie which will conclude the epic saga & its teaser will be screened at Risky Reels location.
Fortnite Star Wars-themed Risky Reels event will take place on December 14, 2019, & already many changes have taken place in that location to prepare it for the upcoming event. The date regarding this event was revealed on December 7 with a poster on a screen located at Risky Reels. Have a look at the poster down below.
This is not the first time Epic Games has partnered with a brand to promote something. Earlier, Fortnite partnered with Star Wars to release the official Storm Trooper Skin to promote Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.
Well, players who wish to enjoy the event should log in 30 minutes before the start of the event. Apart from this, a new Glider has been leaked on the PlayStation Store as a part of a promotion for the upcoming movie ‘The Rise of Skywalker’. In addition to this glider, Epic Games has also added three new promotional skins for players. Rey and Finn joined the Fortnite skins roster along with Red Sith Trooper. These new skins were added to the game on December 13. Have a look at the skins down below.
Another leak also suggests that lightsabers will make entry to the game in the Star Wars limited-time mode. The leak came from one of the prominent Fortnite leakers, ShiinaBR. Have a look at its tweet down below, which suggests that four colors of Star Wars lightsabers will be added to the game.
However, we should only take this leak with a grain of salt and wait for any official news to arrive. Well, it will be interesting to see what Epic Games has in store for players regarding the upcoming live in-game event.
