It is unclear what the exact cause of these issues is but reports regarding them surfaced after Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 went live.
However, affected players may not have to contend with these problems for long as Fortnite support has acknowledged them.
It seems Epic Games is aware of the aforementioned issues and is already working on fixing them. Also, Fortnite support has shared temporary workarounds for the affected players.
Those who wish to buy 25 Battle Pass levels in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 at the discounted price can do so by heading over to the Battle Pass section then manually purchasing 25 levels from the Buy levels menu.
In the mean time you can purchase 25 levels at the same discount by going into “Buy levels” menu from the Battle Pass screen

Apart from that, some affected Crew members may be able to receive Battle Pass by restarting Fortnite. Thus be sure to give these workarounds a go until Epic Games releases a proper fix for the aforementioned issues.

Hopefully, the game developer and publisher soon fixes both issues so that Fortnite Chapter 2 players can enjoy Season 8 without any hassle.
