Fortnite Risky Reels event : Digging machines have replaced cars

Fortnite Battle Royale game is all set to dive in the festive season as Christmas & New Year are about to arrive soon. Epic Games will once again bring a live event to the game for the upcoming year 2020. Data miners have leaked the name of the event & it will be called Galileo.

The upcoming live event will take place at Risky Reels. Speaking of Risky Reels, it is one of the popular landing spots for players. In Season 7, Risky Reels was replaced by a block made by the community. The map change was revealed during the Game Awards 2018.

However, Risky Reels returned to the game in Fortnite Chapter 2 along with a huge cinema screen, and now data mined leaks suggest that a live event will take place at Risky Reels.

Well, if you have played Fortnite for long, you must be aware of the fact that Epic Games has a habit of making changes to the map for any themed events.

As we have seen earlier, Rift Beacons were introduced in Fortnite Season 10 for the themed event, which ended with a black hole and brought Fortnite Chapter 2. The first leaks regarding the Risky Reel event surfaced online on November 20 by prominent data miners, including Lucas7yoshi & HYPEX.

According to Lucas7yoshi, Epic Games will play a video on the big screen for two minutes. We will possibly see fireworks in the sky, as we witnessed last year. HYPEX has revealed that some changes will be made to Risky Reels for the event.

According to him, there will be movement of items in Risky Reels. Digging machines have arrived at Risky Reels as cars are being moved out. Have a look at the images down below.

Speaking of Fortnite Chapter 2, it brought new locations to the game, which includes the following: Holly Hedges, Dirty Docks, Frenzy Farm, Lazy Lake, Slurpy Swamp, Weeping Woods, and Beachy Bluffs. Apart from that, in Fortnite Chapter 2, players can carry their downed teammates.

The new season also features a brand new XP & battle leveling system. Fortnite Chapter 2 also added a swimming feature to the game.
