Flashher app now available on iOS App Store, Android users await Play Store support

In the past couple of years, we have seen the rise of new social media platforms like TikTok and Likee that focus on short interesting skits. These apps have become crazy popular among the younglings and today we have yet another promising one.

Flashher is an app designed to capture memories in seconds. Flashher lets you capture instant flashing photos by focusing your camera on movements or by slightly moving your phone.

Granted, the platform has not been around for that long, but is already showing a lot of promise in various regions across the globe.

And the platform is rather easy to use. According to the description, users can capture a flashing post of almost anything in motion. These could include skateboarding, the palm trees while being blown by the wind, a waterfall, the clouds outside the airplane window, or as simple as a selfie.

After capturing your Flashh post, just upload it and let the world and your Flashhers see it. You can see your own Flashh posts on your profile, while your friends will see them on their Flashh feed.

Flashher is now officially available on Apple’s App Store after several weeks of being in testing under the App Store’s Test Flight program. This is a huge milestone for the platform as it is now readily accessible to more users.

Sadly, there is still no word as to when exactly the app will be available to Android users. Users and fans cannot wait for the Android version of this app to launch and they have taken to Social Media to pile pressure on the developers to bring them onboard.

Flashher was built by a Computer Engineering student at UPR Mayagüez in Puerto Rico. We can only hope that he can expand the reach of this rather impressive app across the aisle to the Android ecosystem soon to take advantage of Android’s prevalence and numbers.
