FIFA 21 Ultimate Team (FUT) UCL 2 Player Pack rewards players with standard Gold cards, EA says issue is under investigation

FIFA 21 was launched in October last year and is available on multiple platforms such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows.

The game brings graphical improvements and other fun stuff which, of course, includes the Ultimate Team mode for players to build their own teams to play online and offline.

To make things more interesting, FIFA 21 has a bunch of Player Items that can be unlocked with the various packs in the game.

The base items include Bronze, Silver, and Gold types but there are also other special items such as the UCL 2 Player Pack that should contain 1 UCL Rare Player and 1 UCL Common Player.

But it seems that many FIFA 21 players who’re opening the UEFA Champions League or UCL 2 Player Pack are reporting that they’re only getting standard Gold Player items.

One individual even shared a video of them opening the FIFA 21 Ultimate Team UCL 2 Player Pack and getting 2 standard gold cards as a reward. Check it out below.

Naturally, many players have been puzzled by the outcome and have been seeking some kind of explanation for the bug.

EA has come clutch by acknowledging the bug quickly and has already confirmed that they’ve adjusted the latest Team Event reward since then to 1 UCL Rare Player Pack and 1 UCL Common Player Pack.

The platforms that have been impacted by the bug are: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia.

The team has also confirmed that the issue is currently under investigation and will be sharing more details surrounding the FIFA 21 Ultimate Team UCL 2 Player Pack bug on the EA Sports FIFA tracker.
