Original story (published on September 03, 2021) follows:

FIFA 21 is currently the latest entry in EA Sports’ association football simulation game series. It has been available on numerous platforms since October 2020.

The football simulation game has a pretty decent player base across the globe but an issue has been spoiling players’ experience lately.

As per multiple reports, FIFA 21 players are facing an issue with transfer market where they are not getting any coins.

Basically, FIFA 21 players are not getting any coins for the listed players on the transfer market after they are sold.

It is unclear what the exact cause of the problem is but it clearly appears to be widespread and needs to be fixed on larger scale.

@EAHelp Yesterday on FIFA 21 there was some maintenance and I had listed some players on the transfer market it shows that they are sold but I haven’t received the coins. Kindly solve the problem.

Also, some reports even outline that those who bought some players on the transfer market are unable to claim them because of a server error.

so i had 160k coins, i bought this Guardiola card and won it. i opened FIFA later and tried to claim him but it kept on saying it lost connection to the ea servers, my internet is working fine and ea servers are also. i tried from the web app aswell but i was not able to claim him. is there any way i can still claim him. i really dont want to lose that 80k

Whether the two issues are related or not is unclear as EA Sports has not provided much clarity on the matter.

However, affected FIFA 21 players may not have to face this problem too long as EA Help has acknowledged it.

EA Help has said that the team is aware of and is investigating the issue with transfer market where FIFA 21 players are not getting any coins.

This further indicates that a fix for this problem might be in the works and arrive in the near future.

However, this is still based on speculation as EA Help has said that there is currently no ETA for a fix.
