Developed by Saber Interactive, Evil Dead: The Game is a survival horror game featuring multiple maps from the original film series.
It recently received a patch that introduced the new Splatter Royale mode, allowing players to fight against up to 40 other players.
Also, some balance changes were introduced with the patch, which helps make the gameplay exciting for players.
However, it looks like the developers need to make some additional tweaks to the game to make it completely balanced.
Evil Dead: The Game Leader Aura bug
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8), some players are experiencing difficulties while playing the game as a glitch multiplies the survivors attack damage to an ungodly amount.
Some also feel that the issue maybe has something to do with a leader’s aura.
Players also complain that the survivors are able to kill any unit with just a single hit due to the glitch. Also, survivors with team leaders can reportedly do up to 100k+ damage now.
A gamer on Twitter also alleges that it is impossible for one to play the Kandarian Demon.
So now survivors are abusing the leader glitch and then claiming to be good!? you guys are absolute losers! and all I see now are ruby & Arthur teams with 2 ashes! I think I’m gonna stop playing till this loophole is patched

Something was broken with leaders and their Aura this patch.

Some are also unable to complete the book phase due to the bug.
Gamers are now requesting that the developers fix the glitch so that the survivors can no longer cause massive damage to other players or kill them instantly.
Official acknowledgment
Fortunately, the Saber support team on Twitter has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently being investigated. However, no official ETA for the bugfix has been provided.
A Reddit user claims that the developers will release the bugfix by next week.
We do hope that the developers resolve this problem soon so that everyone can fairly play the game.
That said, we’ll keep an eye on the issue where a survivor’s attack damage is greatly boosted or multiplied due to a Leader Aura bug in Evil Dead and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
