Epic Games has released a new update for Fortnite Battle Royale today. The latest update v10.30 has brought a lot of modifications to the game including some major map changes. The new update has gone live, and it has brought back Greasy Grove and added a new location, Moisty Palms.
Amid this update, Epic Games has also disabled the controversial B.R.U.T.E vehicle from the game today. In an official tweet, Epic Games has confirmed that B.R.U.T.E. has been temporarily disabled from all playlists.
Epic Games has not specified any reason for disabling it. They just mentioned that to resolve some issues, B.R.U.T.E has been disabled. Epic Games will provide more information after analyzing the issues. Have a look at the official tweet below.
Epic Games added B.R.U.T.E vehicle to the game along with Fortnite Season 10. However, Fortnite fans were not happy with its inclusion as they thought it was too OP for the game and disturbed the game balance. Epic Games nerfed B.R.U.T.E in the subsequent updates, but it did not appease the players.
Apart from nerfing B.R.U.T.E, Epic Games has also vaulted a few weapons in the update V10.20.2. The weapons that have been vaulted in the hotfix include Combat Shotgun, Drum Shotgun, and Proximity Launcher. The update also brought back the ‘Suppressed Assault Rifle’ in Epic and Legendary variants.
Apart from weapons, Fortnite Season 10 has brought back many fan-favorite locations including Retail Row, Dusty Depot and Factories. Rift Beacons have been an important element of Fortnite Season 10. Whenever a ‘Rift Beacon’ got activated in Season 10, it has brought significant map changes to the game.
Now the activated Rift Beacons at Paradise Palms and Polar Peak have once again brought some map changes to the game. We have a new location called Moisty Palms, and Greasy Grove has also returned. In the Swampy Moisty Palms, players can disguise themselves as props. Have a look at the video below.
The new v10.30 update has also added a mode called Knock Town, which is solo mode and respawning is enabled under this mode. Knock Town was a top 3 contender for the LTM Creator Contest. An official description of Fortntie Knock Town Mode reads the following :
Use the grappler to jump around and dodge shots as you one-tap enemies in the air with the Flint-Knock Pistol. The player with the most eliminations at the end of the match wins!
The new update has vaulted Burst SMG, but brought back the Tactical SMG. Several bug fixes and enhancements are also part of Fortnite update v10.30. In the latest update, B.R.U.T.E.’s Stomp attacks deal consistent damage to other vehicles. You can read the complete v10.30 patch notes by heading here.
