Latest Digimon movie review
The latest movie of the franchise is titled Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. It will be a sequel to Digimon Adventure tri, following the movie of the original Digimon Adventure series.
The movie is produced as part of the year-long 20th anniversary of the Digimon franchise. The film is set five years after Digimon Adventure tri, taking place in 2010. With Taichi and his friends reaching adulthood, they are struck with the news that the partnership with their Digimon will soon end, as they are not children anymore.
Meanwhile, a powerful Digimon called Eosmon appears, robbing other DigiDestined of their consciousness, and it’s up to Taichi, Agumon and all their friends to fight together one last time to save the world. This means that the new animated series to air in April may be an alternate universe taking place in 2020.
The original Digimon Adventure is the first season of the anime saga Digimon: Digital Monsters. It aired 54 episodes on Fuji TV in Japan from March 7, 1999, to March 26, 2000. In the United States, it aired on Fox Kids from August 14, 1999, to June 24, 2000.
