Destiny 2 players divided over Legend Lost Sectors difficulty level, some want it nerfed or rewards buffed

Destiny 2 is one of the popular titles in the first-person shooter genre. Bungie quite frequently introduces changes to the game via updates.

These generally introduce bug fixes to known issues, gameplay changes, and also add some new elements.

For instance, the recent v7.0.0.3 update fixed an issue that caused the Commendations screen to crash and another bug that prevented Scavenger armor mods from properly activating in Crucible game modes.

Bungie has also recently made some changes to the Legends Lost Sectors difficulty level and gamers are unhappy about that.

The Lost Sectors are quick off-shoot missions scattered across the game’s open-world area. The locations of such sectors are marked on the map with a specific icon.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6), some players are dissatisfied with the recent change in the Legend Lost Sectors difficulty level. It is alleged that the difficulty level now is way too high.

And understandably, a section of gamers want the difficulty level to be nerfed and have taken to social media to demand the same.

One of those affected complains that after the recent change, playing these short missions has become an absolute pain as it’s now very hard to kill the enemies due to the massive hit-point increase.

They also said that due to the increased difficulty level matches have become tedious and time-consuming.

Hey so, I remember reading that they were introducing level caps to harder content to match gms and heists. I thought this was a good change, and still do. I did not realize this was also behind upping the base light.

While, on the other hand, others (1,2,3,4,5) claim that they enjoy playing on the highly increased difficulty levels, but allege that the rewards given to them for the same are not enough.

Due to this, they are now requesting the developers that the rewards for playing the Lost sectors missions be buffed up.

In this regard, a gamer says that they actually enjoy the increased difficulty levels for a majority of activities. But, they also feel that this increase should be needs to have an appropriate increase in rewards.

Another player is of the view that with the increased difficulty, the loadout slots should be unlocked as well.

I’m actually enjoying the difficulty increase for the majority of activities, but the massive increase in Lost Sector difficulty really needs to have an appropriate increase in rewards.

I’m no stranger to legend lost sectors. I’ve run plenty in my time. Done a few flawless even. But why is something as basic as loadout slots locked behind this level of content?

We do hope that Bungie listens to the demands of the users and makes the necessary changes.
