Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Compass card website isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.
A quick look at micro-blogging site Twitter conveys there are many other affected by the same issue. As per reports, users are having login into their Compass Card accounts. For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Any official word on the matter? Yes. Thankfully @TransLink has officially confirmed the glitch through their official Twitter handle while reverting back to users. And here’s what they have to say:
We are getting reports that there are issues with the site, tech are currently working to resolve the issue.
At the same time, they’ve also updated there’s no ETA for the fix as yet.
Sorry, unfortunately no ETA on when it will be up and running.
Rest assured, we’re keeping a continuous tab on all related developments, and will update this page with relevant info as and when we come across any. So in case you’re encountering the problem discussed here, stay hooked for updates.

@TransLink says the issue has now been resolved.
We received info that http://compasscard.ca is operating and that’s what the other customers reporting too. If it’s still not working for you, try refreshing your browser please.
Update 2 (Oct 01)
Looks like the problem was either not resolved completely or it has reared its ugly head again. Users are again reporting about login issues, and @TransLink seems to be investigating.
