COD: Warzone crossplay not working as Friends List goes offline for players

Call of Duty: Warzone is currently one of the most popular battle royale games and it recently also got refreshed with the Season 3 update.

Season 3 brings a host of new goodies including new maps, weapons, and multiplayer modes. It also brought the Hunt for Adler event.

That said, a few bugs also tagged along. Players who were trying to purchase the Battle Pass or COD points were seeing an error code “RUGBY” and PC players were also facing issues on Battlenet.

Now it appears that COD: Warzone players are bumping into yet another issue involving crossplay which is not working because the Friends List does not load.

Many disgruntled players have taken to Twitter and Reddit to seek help with the problem. Here are some of the reports:

The only reason I’m up right now is to play warzone with my friends through cross play yet my friends list doesn’t even work after 2 hours of troubleshooting. Either fix your crap or don’t label it crossplay. #Warzone #buggy #frustrated (Source)

Since most battle royale players like to play the game with their friends, this bug comes as a big blow for those looking to get those frags with their squad.

An official acknowledgment is yet to come for the issue. Hence, it may take a while before the problem is addressed, unless the developers decide to take care of the issue silently.
