With the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 this November, the original video game received a new sequel. A few improvements were made to the game as a result of the update, including new campaigns, and weapons.
However, there have been a number of problems and issues with the game that have disappointed gamers including an overpowering ‘bomb drone’, and DMZ bots.
COD: Warzone 2 Recon Drone freezing issue
Several COD: Warzone 2 players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) have now taken to social media platforms to report freezing issues while using Recon Drone in the game.
BUG: When using Recon/Bomb Drones you got stuck and can’t move for the rest of the game. Should removed from game untill a fix.

Hey @Activision @ATVIAssist @InfinityWard the drone bug where you can’t move is still in the game btw. I thought it was fixed!!

The freezing issues seemingly continue to persist in Season 1 as well. Owing to this, players get stuck as the controls of the drone stop working.
Reports suggest that the issue becomes prominent or the game is more susceptible to freezing when players are inside the buildings.
This is incredibly frustrating for players as the inability of the drone to move or shoot is ruining the gameplay experience.
Potential workaround
We have come across a workaround that can help fix the freezing issues. You can check it out below.
Unfortunately, Infinity Ward hasn’t acknowledged the issue yet so affected players will have to wait indefinitely for the team to come up with a permanent fix.
We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this story to reflect noteworthy information.
NOTE: You can also check out the COD saga tracker for updates on other bugs and issues.
