COD: Warzone 2.0 'custom loadout' & 'blueprint mods' reverting after latest update, issue acknowledged (workarounds inside)

The most recent Season 01 Reloaded update got gamers excited as they anticipated many improvements and bug fixes. However, the joy soon turned into disappointment as it broke more things than it fixed.

Reports (1,2,3) suggest that players are not able to use custom weapons loadout or blueprint mods, as they either reset or revert to the standard or default version.

Reportedly, the most recent patch that dropped just a few hours ago broke the custom loadouts and blueprints mods functionality.

Further explaining the issue, a user stated that only the ones who have bought Modern Warfare 2 are facing issues with their custom loadouts resetting.

Official acknowledgment

Fortunately, the developers have acknowledged the issue on their official Trello board and are working on a fix. We hope they are able to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

Potential workarounds

We did come across a workaround that can help fix the issue where Warzone 2.0 custom loadout and blueprint mods keep reverting or resetting.

A player was able to fix the problem with custom loadout by simply not using any blueprints at all. While this is surely frustrating, it does seem to be helping some.

Another mentioned that the bug is caused by the game’s inability to carry two custom blueprint weapons.

Additionally, making a blueprint, editing its attachment, switching the attachment back to the desired one, and repeating the same steps for the secondary slot might potentially fix the bug.
