Call of Duty Warzone was released a day ago and within a matter of 24 hours, the game has broken several records. It has raked in 6 million players on its first day. This information was revealed on the Call of Duty official Twitter handle.
Game’s player base is expected to increase further in the coming time. Speaking of Call of Duty Warzone, it is a battle royale game that features over 150 players. The game is free-to-play & also offers a cross-platform experience.
Warzone is a massive combat arena, set in the expansive and dense city of Verdansk, where up to 150 players battle for victory, across two distinct epic modes of play, Battle Royale and Plunder. In the Battle Royale mode of the game, your team can win by surviving till the last.
However, in the Plunder mode, players are required to collect more cash than opposing teams. The first team to collect $1 Million starts a two-minute timer; the leading team after the two-minute bonus round is the winner.
Cut to now, many Call of Duty Warzone players are currently experiencing issues of crashing, freezing, fps lags & black screen glitch. They have taken the route of Reddit to express ongoing concerns & issues. Have a look at a few complaints down below.
Many players are getting crashes while playing the tutorial while for some, the game is crashing during startup. A few players have also reported issues of the game getting shut down while playing & returning them to desktop.
Activision has published a basic guide on their official blog to address these crashes, which you can check by heading here. However, the issue is widespread & affecting a large number of players. Today, Activision officially stated on their Trello board that they are investigating crashing & freezing issues on PC. However, they have not particularly addressed PS4 & Xbox One crashes. But as developers are aware of ongoing crashes, a fix for the same is expected to arrive on all platforms soon. Have a look at the snapshot from the official Trello board down below.
Apart from this, Call of Duty Warzone also features many vehicles which can be used to fast travel across the map. There are five vehicles all with varying levels of protection, speed, seating, and off-roading capability. Each vehicle has a health meter and when it reaches zero, the vehicle explodes and flames out. The following five vehicles are available in the game –
- ATV – two seater, provides minimal protection, good at offroading, fast.
- Tactical Rover – four seater, provides minimal protection, solidly fast, solid at off-roading.
- SUV – four seater, provides good protection, medium speed, not ideal for off-roading.
- Cargo Truck – holds the squad plus equipment, excellent protection, not for off-roading, slowest.
- Helicopter – four seater, decent coverage, flies.
