Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will get its own ‘Battle Royale’ mode this year. According to sources, the new mode is expected to release before 2nd week of March. The BR will be called ‘Warzone’ and will appear in the ‘CLASSIFIED’ section of the main menu.
Even though battle royale mode is not as exciting as it was before, it is still very popular among gamers and e-sports fanatics. Titles like PUBG, Fortnite, Apex Legends are still a major force in the gaming industry.

As per reports, the game will be available to all current owners of Modern Warfare on launch day. The company will release a ‘standalone’ version which will be free to play, and will include the option to upgrade to the full Modern Warfare Experience.
It is going to be a 200 player lobby which is slightly different from the conventional battle royales. If they incorporate 5 man squad, that will definitely be a gaming changing move.
We will hear more about ‘Warzone’ this week. Sources say, the game will be available to all major North American streamers, before its officially available to everyone.
This is the pattern major game publishers follow, which is actually smart marketing. More details about map size, weapons included, squad type, etc will be revealed on launch day.
