Are you a customer of UK’s BT? Are you having issues accessing the company’s mail services? Well, if your answer is yes and yes, then find solace in the fact that you aren’t alone.

We are seeing a lot of reports on social media platforms where complainants say they their BT email is down. Following are some of the complaints:

In a lookout for more information, we stumbled upon BT’s service status page, wherein it’s clearly mentioned that there are ongoing issues email.

We’re investigating a problem that may be preventing some customers from accessing their email accounts via webmail or via the Yahoo! App and client. Our tech teams are working had to get this fixed as soon as possible and we’re sorry for any problems this issue is causing.

The company also acknowledged issue with broadband Internet and telephones.

A small number of our customers in the areas shown below, may experience a loss of telephone and/or broadband services. We hope to have service restored as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing. Services can be affected by a number of different factors such as damage by third parties to the network causing cable damage

Update 1 (September 05)

BT email is again experiencing issues. We are seeing a large number of complaints (see here). However, we’d like to share with you that other popular email services like Yahoo and AOL are also having outages currently.

Update 2 (September 27)

For those of you facing issues with BT mail, here’s what @bt_uk said while reverting back to a user:

There is small number of people affected by an issue that is stopping some customers from sending or receiving emails when using a Mail Client (such as an App or Outlook). We are working closely with Yahoo to rectify this and apologise for the inconvenience.
