Borderlands 3 is the new shooter from Gearbox Software and 2K Games. The game is a sequel to Borderlands 2 which was released back in 2012.
The game follows the story of the Vault Hunters who regroup on the call of Crimson Raiders and arrive on Pandora and find out that Crimson Raiders are almost annihilated by Children of the Vault. The Vault Hunters meet with Lilith who assigns them the missions to recover a Vault Map which directs them to Promethea.
But they are ambushed by Tyreen and Troy who both are Sirens, but Troy needs Tyreen’s power to keep him alive. Tyreen can suck the life force out of anyone and uses it on Lilith. The twins take the map, and the adventure for the Vault Hunters continue.
The game is gearing up for the Halloween Season with its free Halloween event. The Halloween event – called the Bloody Harvest is the first free content for the game since its release. The game devs 2k have released some more details about the event.
Players who have unlocked until the Sanctuary III will have the access to the festivities. When the event starts, a large lizard named Maurice will be found aboard your ship which will be your guide to all seasonal content.
The event will take place on a planet called Heck and to get there players will have to complete a quest given by Maurice. The quest on Heck will be to fight the new Halloween special zombies and jack-o-lanterns until you finish off the final boss Captain Haunt.
The event also introduces a new debuff called – Terror. The debuff can cause vision blur and can mess with your aim. But thanks to the new Anointed weapons that can be dropped by enemies, terror debuff can be turned to your benefit.
New shotgun called the the Fearmonger is also added to Borderlands 3 which is a legendary weapon along with seasonal cosmetic items for each of the four Vault Hunter classes in the game.
The event starts on October 24. Are you excited to play it? Let us know in the comment section below!
