Boost Mobile carrier offers telecommunications services to multiple areas in the United States. However, it seems that the company has been in the midst of a severe outage for a few days.
Multiple reports indicate that Boost Mobile users are currently dealing with multiple network-related issues like ‘no Cellular connectivity’ or being unable to activate SIMs.

Being connected through our mobile devices has taken on great importance in today’s world. Not only for entertainment, but also for the professional segment or to stay informed.
That being said, Boost Mobile carrier seems to be going through an unusual situation of an outage that has lasted several days. This has many of their clients incommunicado.
The situation is unusual since network outages are usually corrected in minutes or hours. But for some reason, it’s been days since Boost Mobile users were last able to use the mobile network normally.

The outage is preventing the completion of any operation that requires access to the carrier’s network. This also implies that the activation of Boost Mobile SIMs is not working.
@boostmobile I am visiting the USA and I bought a boost mobile sim card to stay connected, but it is not possible to activate it! Can I get a refund? I will not be able to use it during my stay.

Other services related to the company, like DISH Network TV, have also been experiencing multiple issues in the last few days.

It’s worth pointing out that the latest official acknowledgment from the Boost Mobile team is from February 23. Since then, the company has not issued more public statements in this regard.
Due to an internal systems issue, some users may experience difficulty with their Boost Mobile accounts, paying their bill, or reaching Boost Care. Please be assured that your wireless service is not affected by these issues and your service will not end due to non-payment

In their latest acknowledgment, the company stated that they were working to resolve the issues as soon as possible. However, as of today, February 28, the outage is still present.

09:02 am (IST): Boost Mobile support have shared they’re making steady progress to restore the systems. However, they haven’t provided any ETA for the fix.

Update 2 (March 2, 2023)
08:57 am (IST): Boost Mobile support team confirmed that they will not terminate service for users who have not paid the monthly bill while they are working on solving connectivity issues.
Update 3 (March 3, 2023)
01:51 pm (IST): Some users are now accusing Boost Mobile of hiding the fact that DISH servers suffered a data breach and that their data might have been compromised.
Update 4 (March 4, 2023)
09:30 am (IST): A few hours ago, Boost Mobile support confirmed that users should able to pay their bills through the MyBoost or BoostOne apps.
Boost Mobile customers can now pay their bills through the MyBoost app or BoostOne app. (Source)

Update 5 (March 6, 2023)
08:57 am (IST): Some users are now reporting (1, 2, 3, 4) that they are unable to use their Boost Mobile connections as they can’t complete the payment due to the ongoing outage.
Furthermore, Boost support team is asking those affected to reach out to them via DM.

05:50 pm (IST): A number of affected users are unable to get in touch with Boost support amidst an outage, which in turn leaves them without any answers and the service.

11:48 am (IST): Boost Mobile service is now working properly for some users.
And although other users have also confirmed (1, 2) that they weren’t facing any problem either, they were unable to pay the bill when payment date arrived as the platform was down.

05:43 pm (IST): Boost Mobile support is now asking users to contact local retailer for assistance, if they aren’t able to complete their payments online.

05:55 pm (IST): One of our readers has suggested that they were able to make payment and get service restored by communicating via email and online.
Was able to make payment and get service restored by communicating via email and online. Was about to go to a store for help but won’t have to. My dashboard (last I checked) said my account was suspended but my phone is working now. First try to sign in using your email address, ask to reset your password and then go to your dashboard and authorize a payment.

04:50 pm (IST): According to Boost Mobile Care on Twitter the payment services are back in operation.
05:40 pm (IST): According to a report, the culprit behind the recent DISH network data breach could be Black Basta ransomware. It is linked to Russian cybercrime group ‘FIN7’.
Also, in these cases, it might take some time to fully recover as these types of attacks not only focus on stealing data, but they also block the servers until the affected party and attacker reach an economic agreement.
