While it has been almost a year since Android 10 came out, some OEMs like BLU are just getting started with the Android 10 beta update testing. Many of the BLU smartphones come with Android 9 Pie out of the box, and the mid-range price tag is what makes these phones worth going for.
One such offering from the OEM is BLU G9 Pro. The device offers a four camera setup with three rear and one front sensor. Apart from this, the G9 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
While BLU G90 Pro was the first BLU smartphone to receive the Android 10 update, the OEM has started the Android 10 beta update program for BLU G9 Pro.
The announcement was made on the official BLU site and also on the official BLU Products Twitter handle. BLU is inviting the G9 Pro users to take part in the Android 10 beta update program to test the OS before the stable version starts rolling.
The beta updates are usually full of bugs and issues so it is good that the American OEM is testing its Android 10 update before rolling it out. This also ensures that all the major bugs and issues get sorted before the final version of the OS reaches general public.
So, if you own a BLU G9 Pro and are ready to get a taste of Android 10 then you can sign up for the beta testing program. However, it must be noted that the OS may still be unstable and hence, unusable as a daily driver.
It is a bit late considering most OEMs like Xiaomi, Samsung, etc. have already updated many of their eligible devices to Android 10. Nevertheless, BLU has a relatively small lineup of devices which makes it understandable why the OEM is just starting with its G9 Pro Android 10 beta update program.
