Asus ROG Phone 3, ZenFone Max Pro M3 or ZenFone 7: Which one are users excited about? Here's what our poll says

Asus wasn’t that active in the smartphone market in 2019. Only a handful of new phones were released. Actually five – ROG Phone 2, ZenFone 6 (Asus 6z), ZenFone Max Plus M2, ZenFone Max Shot, and ZenFone Live L2.

A high-profile miss was the ZenFone Max Pro series. The last time a new ZenFone Max Pro handset was released is back in late 2018 – the ZenFone Max Pro M2.

For a series of phones that have become quite popular over the past two years, it came as a surprise that Asus ZenFone Max Pro M3 didn’t come out last year.

Regardless of the reason Asus had in mind, it seems the wait is likely to end this year. Asus hasn’t said anything regarding the availability of the ZenFone Max Pro M3, though.

Matter of fact, the stories doing rounds regarding new Asus phones have little to do with the Max Pro M3 and more to do with the ROG Phone 3 and ZenFone 7. But when asked about which phone they’d want Asus to give them first, our readers went for the Max Pro M3.

Out of 127 votes cast in our Twitter poll, 61.4% badly want the ZenFone Max Pro M3 to be released. As for the ROG Phone 3, only 22% are for its release while 16.5% voted for the ZenFone 7. Below is a screengrab of the poll results.

Asus is reportedly lining up the launch of the ROG Phone 3 and ZenFone 7 in July. Whether we will see the Max Pro M3 before or after the duo’s launch remains unclear, but hopes remain high.
