Asus ROG Phone 3, with the hardware this impressive, is indeed a beast and can still outperform a majority of devices.

The only downside users had to face was mediocre performance when it comes to the software domain.

From delayed Android 11 update to the device wrecking bugs, Asus ROG Phone 3 has had a terrible past.

While Asus claims to be working on this issue, users still continue to face the black crush, color banding, and red tint issues on their Asus ROG Phone 3.

With no serious attention from the company, users themselves are looking at ways to resolve the issues.

A user has come forward who claims to have finetuned the black crush, color banding, and red tint issues on ROG Phone 3.

This issue should have been addressed by Asus developers but then the software development isn’t doing too great, users have to fight their own battles here.

The kernel being developed unofficially has been taken down from the Asus forums but we will add it here as soon as we get our hands on it.

Well, that’s not the only issue that Asus ROG Phone 3 users are facing. A camera bug has also appeared lately which seems to restrict users from saving pictures to the gallery after shooting them.

when I open the camera, then take the photo, and then close the camera, the photo wasn’t saved… In order to save it I always have to wait like 5 seconds at least or enter in the gallery to check before closing the camera app

Responding to which the forum moderator says the issue will be fixed with a future OTA.

This will be fixed in a future fota. Thanks!

We hope to see more attention from Asus in the future and keep you updated as and when a solution or a fix is available.
