Original story (from Jan 18) follows:

You don’t need a special gear to immerse yourself in games with intensive graphics. Today, many titles are available for smartphones, which have the potential to bring you to a whole-new world in terms of visuals and sound effects.

That’s how gaming phones were born. Instead of focusing on the optics and aesthetic elegance, they sport high-end SoCs, sturdy design, and outstanding display panels to please avid gamers. And you know, Asus ROG lineup comes on top when we speak of gaming smartphones.

Despite having a superior performance profile, ROG Phone II couldn’t please the users, with Android 10. Provided most of the other manufacturers rolled out the update to their recent flagships, it is a bit of a letdown from a consumer’s perspective.

However, the company confirmed the device’s eligibility four months ago and they even started rolling out beta builds. Post two months, we are not hearing any news on the delivery to the stable channel. Wait, what?

Asus has grabbed new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications for a few already released phones. A quick lookup unveiled they are different variants of ROG Phone II. So, it’s logical to think that they have acquired it for Android 10 specifically because the wi-fi.org page says so.

On the Bluetooth certification listing, you can’t see the version details though. As you can clearly see, the last certified dates go only a few days back. For the same reason, we think they will begin Android 10 stable rollout pretty soon.
