Asus has its fair share in the smartphone market with some technologically rich devices in place. The company usually remains a notch above the competitors in terms of hardware.
But at the same time, it is indispensable to have equally good software to run these devices. Asus has a close-to-stock ZenUI for its devices.
The company, unlike other OEMs in the market, does not carry around the load of a dozen devices and therefore, only a handful of devices stand eligible for the Android 11 update.
So far, only the Asus ZenFone 6 (aka Asus 6z) has made the big leap to Android 11. Rest of the eligible devices are also in the queue.
The developers at Asus might hustle their work to bring more good news for the Asus mobile owners in the next quarter. To keep a track of the development, head here.
But owing to the complexities of developing an operating system or a skin, final result attained may not be as flawless as a user would expect.
With every iteration to the software, a bunch of bugs will always be there to accompany, irrespective of the big name of the brand.
It is fairly certain to have bugs when a device is making the transition to the next generation of the operating system. Specially for a brand like Asus which has repeatedly disappointed its users by overly delayed updates.
The positive bit is that the brand listens. There has been multiple bug encounters on the way to Android 11 but the company was quick to both acknowledge and then prepare a bug fix.
To keep a track of these bugs and issues, we have curated a dedicated tracker. This tracker will continue to reflect the ongoing bugs, their present status, and upcoming bug fixes.
