Apex Legends Iron Crown Collection event has been concluded successfully. Respawn Entertainment has now announced a new two-week event for the popular battle royale game. The event has been named “Voidwalker”, and it focuses on Wraith’s mysterious past.

The event will start on September 3 and will stay until September 17. Voidwalker event will bring in some interesting elements to the game, including a new Wraith town, a limited-time mode, challenges, and double XP rewards. Mentioned below are the features of the Voidwalker Themed Event.

Armed and Dangerous – Limited-Time Mode

Voidmaker event is adding a new LTM (Limited-Time mode to the game. The only weapons that will be made available under this mode are shotguns and snipers. If you like close encounters, you can use a shotgun, and if you prefer long-range battle, you can opt for Sniper. Respawn Entertainment has also mentioned that they are looking for community feedback to understand if fans have enjoyed the event or not.

Event Challenges

Voidmaker event also features new challenges, which are limited to a period of two weeks. Upon successful completion of these challenges, players can earn new character skins and Wraith-themed cosmetics as rewards.

During the Iron Crown Collection Event, a huge Loot Box controversy outraged the Apex Legends Community. For the new event, Respawn has listened to community requests and has lowered the prices of cosmetics. Players will be able to purchase all the cosmetics for $ 5, outside of the legendary skin and frame

The official blog post also mentions that six new legendary items will be included in the “Core loot pool” which can either be crafted or obtained through packs.

Double Top 5 and Wins XP Weekend

The Voidwalker event will also give players a chance to earn double XP for Top 5 finishes and wins. The double XP weekend will start on September 6, 2019, at 10 am PT and will stay live until September 9, 2019. This bonus will affect both the Account Level and Battle Pass progression.
