Apex Legends: Does the new Shadowfall LTM needs changes?

Apex Legends Halloween event is now live and with it, the new Limited Time Mode – Shadowfall is also available for players. But the new mode has players split on the matter of making changes to it.

The new mode is a solo queue where players drop in the night version of Kings Canyon. The players then fight for survival until only 10 legends are left. The legends who die are turned to Shadow Legends in which they have enhanced melee damage, move fasters and can climb higher as well.

The shadow legends must kill all the living legends before they can make the escape in an evac ship which spawns randomly in the circle.

But players have been facing some difficulties in the mode. Players have been reporting that in the ending where the 10 legends have to face off the Shadow legends, it becomes overwhelming to beat them as there are 25 shadow legends. Every shadow legend does a melee attack of 150 on an average.

Any player with a level 1 shield has a total of 150 HP. This makes it one shot kill for any legend who gets hit by them. Also, the Shadow legends just camp around the evac site in the bid to stop legends.

While these reports may seem to make winning as a legend very very hard, some players have reported that winning as a shadow is more difficult as players after dying are quitting the game which makes it impossible for shadows to beat the legends.

Any way you look at it, Apex Legends players are demanding some changes to be made to the mode as it is getting boring for them to play. The new mode is quite fun to play and the devs have put a lot of thought into it.

But it seems that the mode is not quite thought through. Also, players have been able to get the 20 kill badge easily by killing the Shadows. A number of other badges are also up for grabs which shouldn’t be so easily attainable.

These bugs along with the reports by the players have split the players in two on the matter of making changes to the mode.
