It just happens so fast, we are in a game and we are playing Apex Legends and we know that we can clutch this fight when suddenly out of nowhere we take shots and get downed. It’s so frustrating that you cannot even analyse how you died and what you can learn from that match.

But don’t fret, Respawn has listened to the community and we will soon be getting a new Kill Replay feature in Apex Legends! This was a much needed feature which was demanded by many players and its time they get it.

Players have been demanding the Kill Replay feature in the game for a long time

The confirmation for this feature is provided by the one & only reliable data miner, That1MiningGuy. He has tweeted recently showing some code which resembles a snippet from the full code of kill replay feature.

The scripts which had the data elements called – “KillReplayStarted(KillReplayHud_Activate)
and “KillReplayEnded(KillReplayHud_Deactivate)” indicates the feature may be coming soon.

Kill Replay feature is essential when analyzing past game and learning from them. This boosts the performance of the players massively as they can grow from each fight instead of just assuming what happened there. Take a look at the tweet below –

The data miner also found the data element named – “RoundWinningKillReplay“, which hints at the last Kill Replay for the match which can be seen by both the number 1 and 2 teams.

The kill reply feature won’t just be beneficiary for the players but for the devs as well. They can spot bugs better when recorded in kill replay. This can result in massive boost in bug removal from the game.
