Apex Legends have been teasing Crypto in the game for the past few days and now Respawn Entertainment finally decided to announce the Season 3 for the game and the new character which of course is Crypto.

The trailer which is titled Stories from the Outlands introduces Crypto and his lore. The video starts off with a casual conversation of Crypto and Mila. Crypto manages to hack into the system and uncover a prediction algorithm which can be used to rig the Apex games.

Mila decides to use that algorithm for their benefit to which Crypto hesitates. Mila takes off and Crypto dozes off to sleep.The next morning Crypto finds out that Mila is abducted after she downloaded the Algorithm, Crypto manages to wipe his computer clean after he saw some people approaching to apprehend him.

Crypto takes off and manages to escape the people after him using his drone.  The end scene shows Crypto who is now determined to take his revenge. You can watch the full video here –

The Story for Crypto has already hyped the players. The lore concept for the characters will help build a strong attachment of players with their characters while keeping the game alive with new content.

For Crypto, the mess he has been creating in the game is now making sense and the hacking of Repulsor tower and now the hacking the Apex Games itself. He is determined to find his family and friends which were taken away from him and forced him to be on the run.

Respawn also announced the Season 3 on their website. The new Season will be called Meltdown and the Season will kick off on October 1. The new Season will feature new character Crypto, new weapon charge rifle, a new battle pass, and a new ranked series.
