Apex Legends update rolled out on September 3 with the new Voidwalker event. After the update, players were overwhelmed with the amount of content added to the game but also there have been bugs reported after the update.
Players have been looking up to Respawn for new content and with Season 2 Respawn has brought a lot of content breathing life into the game as well. The content was much appreciated but with the content came in some bugs as well. Reportedly, after the devs notified that the connection issues namely code:net and code:wheel have been fixed, there has been a new issue of code:pin.
Apparently, the game which was quick to launch is now taking more than enough time to launch and gets stuck on the loading black screen with apex banner and frames dropping to single digits. After a solid 2 to 3 minutes of wait, the game shows up the error code:pin and clicking continue again starts up the game as usual.
Another issue which has been reported by the players is slow character rendering. Characters in game aren’t being rendered properly and sometimes even the guns take up time to load on screen.
This happens not only in the game but also on the home screen and the character select screen as well. After a 1 to 2 minutes into the game, the guns start to render up on players’ screen. Others put it saying they’re stuck at the black loading screen.
While Respawn has been quick to address other issues, there is still no word from the devs about the bugs and it remedy. Both of the bugs are temporary and it seems that after a game or two, the characters rendering is okay and guns also render correctly.
The Voidwalker event kick started the lore for the character Wraith who took over a part of king’s canyon – Singh Labs. The event also features a special Armed and Dangerous mode which is only a sniper and shotgun mode.
