Original story (published on July 09, 2021) follows:

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are growing ever so prevalent in today’s auto world, coming preinstalled on many new cars’ head units. And for good reason, as they help harness the power of these mobile operating systems while on the move.

As mentioned, many new cars come with these features preinstalled but also, third-party head units from Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer, and so on support this, further making it accessible to more users.
