Wear OS and Android are two products owned by Google, designed to provide users with a seamless experience.
However, it seems that the lack of synchronization between the Do Not Disturb (DND) mode and the bedtime/sleep mode is frustrating many users.
Currently, when you enable DND or any other mode on a Wear OS watch or Android phone, it only enables on the primary device, requiring you to enable it separately on the secondary device.
DND & bedtime/sleep mode synchronization issues on Android 13 & Wear OS
This issue was recently reported (1,2) by users who shared their frustration about the lack of synchronization between DND and bedtime/sleep mode, but it’s not popping up for the first time.
Hey, @WearOSbyGoogle, add DND and Bedtime/sleep mode sync between Android and WearOS. It is very inconvenient that these modes need to be enabled separately on two devices. If this is also a problem for you, please put +1 on the report at this link: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/273475361

The affected urged Google to address this issue in the next release of Android and Wear OS updates.
The lack of synchronization between devices means that users must enable DND and bedtime/sleep mode separately on each device. This can be a frustrating experience, especially for those who use multiple devices.
Furthermore, if a user forgets to enable these modes on one of their devices, they may end up receiving unwanted notifications or calls, disrupting their sleep or concentration.
Feature request escalated
The matter has been escalated to the engineering team for further evaluation. At this point, however, it’s unknown if Google will add support for synchronization between DND and bedtime/sleep mode to Android and Wear OS.
Thank you for reporting this issue. We have shared this with our product and engineering team and will update this issue with more information as it becomes available.

The ability to sync DND and bedtime/sleep mode between Android and Wear OS would definitely improve the user experience, making it easier for users to manage their devices and ensure that they can focus on what matters most.
Hopefully, Google will honor the request to sync DND and bedtime or sleep mode on Android and Wear OS as soon as possible.
As always, we will keep you posted about any developments, so stick around.
