Original story (published on September 15, 2022) follows:
Amazon is a giant that is immersed in multiple segments of the technology industry. One of those segments is home security cameras through its Amazon Blink product line.
Amazon Blink security cameras offer multiple features and useful tools such as motion detection, live video streaming, notifications with potential intruder alerts and more.
Like other similar products, you can manage your cameras through an app. From there you can configure them, use the live stream feature and modify multiple options.
However, currently, many Amazon Blink users are unable to access their cameras through the app as their servers are down or not working.
Amazon Blink app down, not working or says ‘can’t connect to Blink cloud’
Many Amazon Blink users have been unable to take advantage of the cloud-based capabilities of their cameras through the app due to the issue.
When they try to use the Amazon Blink app, they only get an ‘Can’t connect to Blink cloud’ error message or ‘Error 504’ code. Also, the problem has been present for at least a couple of days.
AMAZON: When will this be resolved? There is CLEARLY an issue in Florida so your reps need to stop telling us there is no issue because there DEFINITELY is! You have all these people reporting the “can’t connect to blink cloud”. Called support 2 days ago and was told it was being worked on.

How much longer will Blink be down? Blink system has been down for over 24 hours and unable to access via the app. I have deleted the app & reinstalled it, but cannot access it due to their servers are down. Will paying subscribers get a credit for this time they cannot access the system?

It’s worth pointing out that Amazon Blink cloud-based features work through paid subscriptions. So, many are currently unable to use the features they are paying for.
Amazon reportedly aware of the issue
There is still no official public acknowledgment of the issue from Amazon. However, some users report that the Amazon support team confirmed that they were aware of the outage.
The servers are down, they tell me they are aware and working on it. Call back in 24 hours if still not working to let them know what they are already aware of.
