Got any feature recommendations for Google Allo? Suggest it to Allo’s team, as they are actually listening.

Recently, we stumbled upon a thread on the official Allo forum, where a user was expressing his desire to see a feature for directly pasting images from clipboard into the Allo chat field – a functionality most smart messaging apps offer, but was missing on Allo for Web.

The expert on the thread suggested the user to submit a feature request. Surprisingly, the request was entertained right away, and the feature was silently added. Both the user and the expert confirmed the change.

We can also confirm that dragging and dropping images directly into the chat now works on Allo’s Web app. As the following screenshot reveals, the image first shows up as part of a yet-to-be sent message.

Once you’ve finalized the message, click the send button, and the image will be shared.
