MLB The Show 23 pitching laggy
The game was working perfectly fine until some players began to report issues with pitching. As per reports (1, 2, 3), gamers are complaining that pitching is laggy or inaccurate for them.
Here are some reports for reference:
Does anyone else have the problem where the accuracy of your pitches are completely inconsistent, one inning I can’t throw a strike and a perfect pitch that is set up low and away ends up down the middle, or the next inning your just painting corners, it’s just completely inconsistent. Any help would be huge (Source)
Has anyone experienced pitched morphing out of the zone? I’m hitting 100 percent on my pitches but they completely miss the location. Have videos on this too idk what it is. Any help would be great. (Source)
As apparent from the reports above, some MLB The Show 23 players are not happy with the pitching accuracy this year. Moreover, some also say it’s lagging for them.
Luckily, there’s a potential workaround you can try to mitigate this issue. A Redditor said that they’ve switched settings to pure analog and the pitching is more accurate if they get a good release.
It does surprise me when a pitch goes down the middle and they don’t crush it. I’ve switched to pure analog for now. Seems way more accurate when I get a good release. (Source)
Unfortunately, the support team hasn’t yet officially acknowledged this issue. But we hope that they fix it soon since it’s ruining the gaming experience.
Rest assured, we will keep an eye on the latest developments regarding this bug and update this article as and when we come across anything noteworthy.
